hb, the proof is all in Intel's financial reports. The chip portion has sucked wind for several quarters and only the speculative sector hedge fund part of the company has kept it afloat.

However, it is true that Intel cannot meet demand. That is not because demand is so high but because Intel can't mfr. worth a damn. Their yields are stinko. And what they do mfr. has to be recalled. That will get you behind on delivery schedules every time. However, so far, they have a couple of contracts with retardo boxmakers who will not move to AMD. I hate to name folks who are that dumb, but if you guess correctly, your answer may ring the Dell. <g>
