I am back from the best time. I went shopping at Garden Ridge for party supplies for the Bacchanalia.
I bought purple tablecloths, even though Thomas has now informed me that they didn't have a lot of purple dye before the Silk Road opened up from the Far East so already I'm historically in error. Well, we are very wealthy royalty.
Then I got gold paint and a stencil roller and I'm going to border the cloths with that Greek design that I can;'t remember the name of. I have a bracelet from the Agora in Athens that I think is the right design-- it's all angles?
THen I found --- o- this will be so neat!-- little Greek heads made out of plaster- for only 4.88 apiece!!! and I got vines for the tables.
Ammo is all excited about it. We are off to buy him fluorescent paint and big garbage cans and a black light for his drum act.
