Off The Edge And Over A Cliff Again I See.

I don't know who you think you are preaching to.Most of the people who cared to share their thoughts are still around as this process continues and many have provided excellent analysis of the questions and scenarios at hand here.

Yet,as you and others run out of arguments that have not already been debunked for one reason or another, you go way over the edge and try to label them with such absurd convictions as " Elain Attackers " and " Against Freedom " and " Pro Castro " and on and on and on.

Get a grip!

Law and order and the American way will prevail. There will be no asylum hearing for a six year old who's father wants him with his family,no matter what country he is from, as it should be.Anything less will be deemed as contrary to international understandings of family rights, not to mention average " normal " Americans showing their approval for the actions of their Government.

You really must begin to come to terms with this and stop isolating yourselves.A couple who started out as " keep the boy free in America ,to hell with the process and laws " are finally beginning to understand the bigger picture here.

Won't you join them?

Nirvana

The final beatitude that transcends suffering, through the extinction of desire and individual consciousness.

Are you deliberately misrepresenting what was said or are you simply too dense to understand it? I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt and accept the more charitable of the two explanations, but I'm not sure which that would be. Take your pick.

X squared, It's a sickening sight for me to behold, but I guess since people have given in to dictatorships time after time in the course of human history, there is really nothing new under the sun.
I used to contribute to environmental organizations, and can remember very clearly the day I handed $100 over to Greenpeace, even though I could not really afford it at the time. Increasingly though, the radicals have taken over much of the environmental movement, turning me off to giving them any more of our money. I think that we should do our best to preserve nature and not destroy the environment, but "the nature freaks" have definitely gone overboard in the past five to ten years.
"Do unto others as you would have them do to you" certainly applies in this case, and the fact that they are so "cheerfully" willing to hand Elian back to a dictatorship, and do not seem to mind too much the "gestapo style tactics" of our own government, is truly frightening and should be of concern to all.
