Hi Shester,

I bought it. The Best Of Cold Blood should be here today from Amazon.

I also bought a Tower Of Power greatest live CD. Lot's of horns and a heavy bass line...

Gotta run.
Glad you're back.

request for quick medical diagnosis for a friend, thanks

I have an odd request... it has to do with a new girlfriend I have made recently, a precious and fine young woman... she has no health insurance, works as a freelance paralegal secretary, is very athletic, is strong & healthy... but she now is bothered by a strange malady... I was wondering if anyone could offer some rough diagnosis, or a website to further investigate what the cause or condition might be

here are the symptoms... the meat in her hand muscles below the pinky finger up to the wrist bone, and the meat of the soles of her feet... they are sore to the touch, but not a result of any sprain... the same pain also has appeared on the long leg muscle above the knee up the thigh... the tenderness and pain can be so temporarily acute that it causes pre-occupation within her mind, and takes her off her feet... the pain and tenderness is not the result of any activity or bump & bruise

the pain comes and goes, and is very bothersome... today she backed out of some plans midday because the soreness moved to the soles of her feet... it seems the locus of pain is at extremes, like hands, feet

she tossed out the idea of gout or lupus... I knew of a lupus case years ago, but it centered on organs and their hardening

I tried cruising thru WebMD.com and couldnt really search from the symptom source to the disease/condition end... it requires me to start with the disease/condition

any ideas? any websites to check?
she will seek a medical professional's help soon
but she is struggling with many other bills, and has no insurance
she is not yet close enough to me to take my help
much appreciated
thanks, Jim Willie
