I got this note just this AM and thought you all might have an interest................. Friday, May 12 (I was already airborn at this time, unfortunately) Hi, Tom. I've been writing to someone who is an investor and going to LV for the Money Show. I have a feeling she'll be there when you are so thought it might be good for her to be able to find you guys and learn more about AIM. What are the details of your trip? I had the idea it was going to be at the same time as that Money Show, so you guys should be there at the same time. Linda Kaplan ............................................... Today, May 18th Hi Linda, Gosh, I'm really sorry I didn't have a way to retrieve your message until today. I got back last evening from the show and AIM meeting. Jane and I left last Friday AM and I didn't have a way to look at SI while away. Please apologize to your friend for me. We held our seminar on Monday and then attended the show the next days. This was a really big deal, maybe 8000 to 10,000 attendees for TMS and just about anyone you've ever seen on CNBC, NBR or W$W was there as a presentor. We had about 30 or so attend the AIM talks. With six speakers the 8-hours zipped by pretty quickly. You would have known many who were there. Bruce Bowman, Steve Kaufman, Saul Seinberg, Rob Hansen, Jack Jagernauth, and many more of the ex-Prodigy folks and SI users. Also people who only "lurk" and showed up to meet us face to face. We handed out awards for "best stock pick" (Keith Felkins), AIM "By the Book" (Bernie Goldberg), Longest Distance Travelled (Barry Savage - Brazil!!!), the "Strewie" award for the biggest hole left in one's foot after shooting oneself there (Steve Grabczyk)! Lots of fun. I gave Steve Kaufman a special award for "Inventing the Strewie" - a framed stock certificate for 5000 shares of a bankrupt company! (from my own mis-adventures!) I would have suggested a check of the AIM web site as it had the particulars on the show and meeting but I guess your friend will now have to wait until our next meeting!! We did have fun! Message 13731052 tells a bit more about our "adventure!" Many folks asked after you and wondered where'd you gone! I remember at least five times that your name was mentioned. Glad to see you made it back to Cheeseland in one piece, Tom. Hey, that group photo was a real piece of work. I can attach names to most of the faces, but am stumped with some of them. Any chance of getting the photo on your site with the names listed. Or I'll be happy to do it if I can get everything straight. I think we will be patting ourselves on the back for a long time after this meeting. Great job in getting it together and keeping it interesting.
