Welcome Chris, thanks for posting.
Intel could be selling MU on a valuation basis although, knowing Intel, there may be something else behind it.
Like showing utter commitment to those who fall in line, ditching those who don't. Intel is clearly pulling out all the tricks.

You you have any idea how much Rambus Intel holds?
It seems they are still hell bent on their chipsets using Rambus. It's starting to look like desperation. The harder they push it the more likely the DOJ will take a look-see.

CNNfn had Forbes on about 8:30 PDT this morning. He said
Austin was the #1 city to do business in. He mentioned
large profit growth at Austin firms and
favorable business climate. Didn't mention AMD, but maybe
the full report does.

San Diego was #6. ;^)

OT

Last week someone mentioned Intel selling 1 million MU shares and discussion ensued as to whether or not Intel has been selling MU recently.

On Tuesday, May 16, Dow Jones put out this snippet:
Intel Sells 6.1M Micron Tech Shrs, Cuts Stake To 4.6%>MU

Now holding just less than 5%, I believe INTC can now sell at will

Thanks for the post. Its surprising with all the selling that MU's stock is holding up fairly well. Its been speculated that Intel's selling may be slightly punitive. I did not think so before but with this latest sale I would have to agree.

Hi Chris, welcome.

Re <<I thank you all for your wonderful contributions (although the OT discussions do get irritating having to wade through 50 posts for maybe 5-6 on topic posts).>>

I agree, this thread is indeed very informative and that is the reason that I try to follow it closely. The OT stuff does bother me also, but I guess we just have to deal with it.
