while is is probably safer to sit until a clear direction is in place, i cant help but be tempted by avnx which has held up remarkably well today, and if cien reports great numbers tonight, the fibre optics could get a little boost tomorrow, also ntro at $31 looks like a bargain, but this is the "drip, drip," kinda market that will wear you out
profit often

China stocks still strong. . .reason for strength in SINA on such a slow day is that float. . . 4 million. The stock has traded 2.5 million today. . .well over half the float. . . my guess is . . .we'll see plenty more action from this one. Nice call Johnston.

The market suffers from a lack of interest not to mention some selling pressure from the busted funds. No one is is left to make the market interesting.? What we need is a good holiday for some holidity!

As I see it there are those that are sitting on a ton of profits over the last 6 months an are uninterested in losing anything. They see this market as more work than it is worth so there out golfing until things change. (Me soon) Then there are those that are sitting on big losses and are going to wait out the bear so they are essentially on the sidelines.

There is just not enough traders left wanting to play the game.

Just my take,

FT

Hi everyone from Amsterdam. Cashed out a few the other day at or near the highs. Have some cash now and am waiting for another short-term bottom. Rande right on T at 36-37, WCOM should be interesting to watch, COMS coming back down to 40 where its a buy, Sold half my UIS under 26 but will buy it back at 23 and change. IBM a buy around 102. LOR at 8 1/2. Looking to make some big money before October (from my real job) and then ride the 4th quarter. The summer is a trading range low volumn yoyo ride with a bearish bias now. But every time those techs become clear bargains again there is reliable buying. Picking the riht stock and picking the bottom, then selling on a big up day. Seems like thats the way to make money here. How far are we from another bottom here? Well find out soon enough.
