Uh... Duke, Slashdotters everywhere will be more than slightly amused that a MSFT Militia shareholder thinks they're seeking some competitive advantage after being beaten fair and square in the marketplace. Particularly when the 'fair and square' in question is the DMCA and extentions to a hijacked open standard. --- You must actually be with MS's legal department. Congratulations on your future inheritance of all that MSFT cash. -JCJ

Duke: Two noteworthy events in the news:

1. Corel is about to run out of cash. I guess you can't sell this stuff at Judge Jackson prices and maintain a bottom line. So far NOVL and now Corel have been murdered in the market place despite their political connections. I guess the next one to fall will be SUNW and then AOL. What goes around comes around one way or another. It looks like folks are voting with their wallets.

2. This item from MSNBC:"....The program was much improved from 1999, a result of Victoria?s Secret upgrading the back-end technology used to broadcast the show. With help from partners like Yahoo!, IBM and Microsoft, the site could handle 10 times more traffic than it did a year ago
