Chuck... Re<<<<<To make the same bad mistake two years in a row is downright dumb. Can Intel's top brass be this bad? Almost sounds too bad to be true. <<<<<>>>

Chuck, I have a feeling there is more to it than Intel trying to make money off of Rambus shares. Isn't it quite possible Intel designed Willy to take advantage of Rambus's good points,(high speed bus, etc. ) and maybe Willy won't run well with regular DRAM. On regular memory, Tbird or Mustang might outperform Willy. Management is sticking with Rambus because they have too. Scumbia would know more than me.

Charles, thanks for the welcome.

Can Intel's top brass be this bad?

That's what bothers me. I am not ready to believe that Intel top management can be careless. If there are skunkworks behind door #3, announcing these could severely harm RDR's ramp up process...so Intel should be quite motivated to keep quiet. The suspense is intriguing.
