Intel has gotto spend a lot of time in the near future with OEMs doing some serious damage control.

Hasn't this been Intel's strategy for the last six months?

Chuck - RE: "Intel has gotto spend a lot of time in the near future with OEMs doing some serious damage control."

I don't see why Intel doesn't take full charge of the DRDRAM fiasco by backing up the DRDRAM makers AND by being the SOLE supplier of the Willy platform. Intel should initially be the sole supplier of Willy chipsets and Willy motherboards. That way they can sell the bundled package of chipset/motherboard/Willy to OEMs at lower prices that could help offset the price premium of DRDRAM, which will have a guaranteed supply AND price if Intel backs the DRDRAM makers.
