I had previously speculated that the SEG/VRTS deal would mean that the remaining shares would not be sold at least until the transaction closed. But the filings on May 4 and 5 indicate that I was wrong. Assuming that SEG has already sold most of the shares that they have filed to sell, they are now below 5%. Does anyone know enough about 144 regs to know whether that means they can immediately sell more shares without further filings?
