Hello Eric L

I found the statement that TRW made all of RFMD's GaAs HBT Junctions as notable. It seems TRW has the same or similar relationship with RMFD that KOPN does with CNXT, which I had not understood in preparing the HUNT report.

Highlighting Mitsubishi connection is also interesting in light of INTEL's recent desire to make 3G chips with them biz.yahoo.com. Perhaps KOPIN will provide the substrate for the power amps? I can find no recent news release from Kopin about Mitsubishi nor visa versa.

Power amp market seems quite crowded these days with RMFD, CNXT, Anadigics, PowerWave, Agilent, Amplidyne, Spectrian. MIcrowave Power Inc all jockeying for position.

Also, agree about highlighting the manufacturing efficiencies with CyberDisplay was interesting to see in contrast with the Ga As modules. It's as if these are really two separate business and I wonder what economies of scale they share. Possibly none as they are trying to ramp up big time.

And of course, the SMART CARDS business better get cranking soon, don't you think?
