Hi Bernie,
Just got a note from "Firsthand Funds" that they will be collecting a 2% redemption fee starting July 1, 2000.

Shares of the Technology Value Fund, The Technology Leaders Fund and the Technology Innovators Fund purchased prior to July 1, 2000, are not subject to a 2% redemption fee. However, new shares purchased after July 1, by new or existing shareholders will be subject to the 2% fee if the shares are redeemed within 180 days of purchase. These fees are deducted from the amount sold and are paid directly to the Fund and become part of that Fund's daily net asset value (NAV) calculations.

Well that kind of seams a bit much to me and really shoots AIMing these Fund's in the Foot...

Keith

Knyyt - I think there has been some discussion on those at the UOPIX thread. Not for sure.

>>I'm curious about something. In the picture taken at Emeril's there is a very attractive young lady. She is very nicely dressed. All the guys seem to be wearing sweaters. What gives?<<

Hi, Bernie. It seems that Las Vegas is the kind of town that some like to dress up and some like to dress down. Emeril's recommends casual dress, so most went casual. The young lady is my kid, and she likes to play dress-up! I'll have some "interesting pictures" which were furnished by Lemonhead a little later this week. The quality of the images isn't that good, but the subject matter makes up for it!

Sincerely,
RFH
