CM,
I took a flashlight to it and all the numbers look uniform.
All I've done so far is attach the heatsink & fan(s) and stick it in the MSI-6195. I also stuck in 256k SDRAM. I'm still comtemplating all metal stand offs vs some nylon spacers. This is the first case I've gotten with no nylon spacers. Wondering about a loopback if too many places are grounded. Ideas?

Jim

CM,
My week 18 700 seems real but i won't know for sure until the case comes off. If its a 900 it will likely get a goldfinger device, maybe. <G>. On examination of your page again it does appear that the 7 looks tampered with and maybe the 700 in slightly off line with the rest of the
numbers. Did AMD send you new ones?
I'm on an Athlon now. Also picked another one up the other day at one of those office places. A Compaq 500 Mhz Athlon w/cd-rw, cd, 128 meg ram, 17 gig hd for $499 (no monitor) on close out. I thought i might goldfinger it. Ought to get 700 MHZ? Compaq says the MB will only run a 500 so I'm wondering if the goldfinger device will work.
Anyway I thought it was a great deal...and it runs very fast as well and SMOOTH....
