I can't really tell you if I think you are a minimal expressionist post modern neo-symbolist, because I haven't the foggiest idea what that is. I suppose I ought to find out, since I'm probably one too.

You guys were in good form last evening. A pleasure to wake up to.

Re the sexist post, I can understand why you're like a dog with a (funny) bone. When I saw that comment I quickly clicked back to the referenced post, stared at it for a while, blinked a couple of times, scratched my head, then moved on. I, too, would be interested in hearing the explanation.

Re Virtual War: Kosovo and Beyond, I'm reminded of the Star Trek episode where two planets had been at war forever. They had "civilized" the process by foregoing the actual war and doing it by computer. Periodically the computer would spit out a list of human casualties on each planet and those individuals marched dutifully into a chamber to be killed. This way the planets avoided the physical destruction of their environments. Made quite an impression on me. The U.S. is in danger of taking the war-is-hell out of it's little foreign wars.

<<I think what I think I am is much more important than what you think I am, but I am too much of a relativist to dismiss you completely>>

Just wanted you to know that I clipped and saved that. I'm sure there was something profound in there somewhere. It struck a chord.

Karen
