Everything comes back to the fundamentals with me. I think if signs of inflation continue the FED has boxed itself into a corner. The FED credibility would really be on the line if they suddenly turn neutral. Ostensibly, they can make the argument that they've given the economy sufficient "medicine" with the previous rate hikes and are willing to take a "wait and see" approach for a bit. But it all comes down to how the actual ppi, cpi, eci, et al turn up in June.

This market has the feel of a huge foot race with everyone anxiously waiting at the starting line for the gun, only to have the false starts put everyone back into starting position.
