Let us take this private as we are getting way off topic, although the environment (in all ways) can cause major changes in AMD's stock price. Message 13754402

How many last words you got to get in here, Pete? I can direct you to many SI threads full of political flamage, where the Clinton haters are still going on, and on, and on. Waste of time, really.

Re: After watching him in action, it is my judgement that he [Gore] should not be President as of now. His big problem is his closeness to Bill Clinton...

GW and Clinton are both party hardy dudes. Remember GW's reply to the question "Have you ever sold cocaine?"

He refused to respond to questions about "mistakes he may or may not have made."

Then he sent kid after kid to prison for 20 years for doing the same thing he'd done - that's character for you.

If you refuse to consider a Democrat who has been nominated because you go for anyone who is put forward by the Republicans, that's OK - most people are that way, consciously or not. But stop harping about Clinton while embracing someone who's setting himself up for the same multi-year show trial we've just been through. And GW won't just be disbarred - he'll go to jail for a long time for selling cocaine.

I tried so hard to stay out of it, oh well :-(

Dan

Pete,

If a Republican had of been in the White House during the last 8 years, it would have been described as "an economic miracle", "a period of unparalleled peace and prosperity", etc.

There would be calls to put his bust on Mount Rushmore.

The ability of Clinton haters to focus on his personal failings is rather remarkable.
