Jim,

I believe the page hit ratio of RDRAM has been shown to be 90+% , so what are you worried about whereas SDRAM has a hit ratio of about 60+% by Toshiba in its whitepaper.

Gnaw on that fact for a while....

I guess that explains the killer performance of the i820 vs. the lowly SDRAM i815.
