lawdog, On a forward basis, that knocks CSCO down to 25 and change. For that to happen, the NASDAQ would need to be killed. Someone on the MDD thread asked earlier today what the actual PE is right now for the Nasdaq. Is there a site that computes this based on trailing AND projected earnings?

This would be interesting to see if the entire Nasdaq is trading at a higher multiple to earnings than the QQQ and to CSCO individually. Since CSCO has essentially tracked the Nasdaq decline since 3/27 (yes, this again), for CSCO to trade at 35X next years earnings, the Nasdaq would have to drop to 1835 (assuming a linear relationship).

There are even few that predict that steep of a drop in the bear camp.
