Actually, I would think that INTEL is more nervous about the MTH problem with SDRAM. It is clear that there are now sufficient supplies of RDRAM for CPQ, HWP, DELL, GTW, Fujitsu-Siemens, and a host of Taiwanese companies.

This latest bit seems part of the tail end of the DDR Summit propaganda campaign that peaked last week.

If a 1 million 820 motherboards have to be converted to RDRAM that is at least 1 M RIMMs and 8 M RDRAM components to add to the royalty stream this quarter. This will speed up the volume ramp of Rambus.
