OT> Caution, personal opinion coming. Re: giving to other poor nations We tried to do that for Russia in their bailout. The money went directly to the Russian Mafia. We've given to N. Korea for promises that they'd quit their pursuit of nuclear development. They are still a nuclear threat to us. We gave to Mexico to bail them out. We are still in continuous border confrontations with them daily. We rebuilt much of Europe and Japan. They are combined our biggest economic threats, and only getting worse. How much money do we give the Palestinians just so they won't attack Israel? Has that helped any? The list goes on and on... Is there a trend here? You bet. The only time our giving actually does ANY good is when it is given via private charity. As long as the US government is involved we will continue to get adverse results. My only point is was that there is a very evident concerted effort to "level the playing the field" economically around the world. The US is seen as an unfairly advantaged bully. Furthermore; capitalism, freedom, liberty, and the US Constitution stands in the way of a fully assembled world government. That is why our economic growth and expansion must be halted or curtailed. I'm not saying these goals will be accomplished right away, but I believe we are ever closer each year. I believe that the Federal Reserve and our own federal administration are key players for this cause. Think about the onerous regulation burdens that US business must submit to, while other entities around the world do not have to comply. There is a lot of pressure to contain our economy. We have the cleanest air, water, land, food, and safest drugs around the world, but yet the federal bureaucracies tack on additional regulations to eek out that last 0.01 percent. There's no cost / benefit analysis. Maybe there's a masked reason for all of this? (BTW, how many federal bureaucracies have we elected? > ~none). KT PS Hoping I don't get a knock on the door from some of Janet's gang.
