I am not sure that I am following at this point. There is something inherently unsatisfactory about this worldly existence, and it is typical to suspect there is more to it than appears, whatever that may be. Not only Jews, Christians, and Muslims, but Hindus, Buddhists, and Sikhs agree on this much. Buddhists go so far as to speak of the realm of illusion, which is the realm of the senses, and Nirvana is essentially being freed from the delusion that this world is real. Js, Cs, and Ms have more respect for creation than that, at least. There is little to muster, it is a very common belief that this is not the whole story........ As far as the end justifying the means goes, well, yes, it does, supposing that they are proportional. Thus, we can kill someone in self- defense, or lie to throw off a robber, or steal to feed a starving child..........
