James, and no smaller authority than Scott McNealy has said that he wants SUN to be in the same dominant position as Microsoft. He has actually said once that he wants to reach the stage when the DOJ takes him as seriously as it does Microsoft.

The fact is that the tech investors have invested for last 10 years trying to find the "NEXT MICROSOFT"...

James--I am long on MSFT and believe that the DOJ is correct in pursuing the company. Yes, this will hurt my stock short term, but I believe that long term MSFT is a good stock. You seem to imply that we should all interpret antitrust law based on what is in our own self interest. In other words, you are saying that the law is what we want it to be. I disagree. If holding MSFT stock while disagreeing with Bill and Steve's arrogant handling of the case offends you, I'm sorry. But I'm not likely to sell and I'm not likely to change my opinion.
