Any prudent MSO...

I keep seeing MSO on this message board, but I don't know what it is. What is an MSO?

Tim

lml- Well you probably hit the nail on the head. COST$. Not so much what a subscriber would be willing to pay for HDTV(of which I still feel they would gladly pay $20/month extra), but more what the decoder and HDTV set would cost. I agree with the CES comments about the sweet spot being in the $3-5K range.

Ironically, this makes MSO infrastructure investing even more enticing. Once all the cable plants are upgraded to HFC, then there will come another huge spending spree to upgrade systems for HDTV. Sounds good to me. -MikeM(From Florida)
