Anybody have thoughts on Fleckenstein, and his reputation?

I listened to the SI/NDB webcast today. He spoke of last five years of this market as anomalous, that the NAZ went from a composite PE of 20-30 to about 120 at the peak, that the unwinding of the mania could take NAZ back down to 1000 level, in particular that if/when mutual fund liquidations begin, they could go on and on for years, a painful, grinding bear. Parallels drawn with the 80's Japanese market top.

Very depressing.
Very very depressing.

George, AXF is estimated to earn $2.84/a share this year. Conservatively I see no reason why it shouldn't hit at least $50 by years end. IMO AXF deserves to be trading at at least $60, if not higher. They're a diversified financial services firm and are slowly gaining the respect they rightly deserve. As an added kicker keep in mind they are a nice acquisition target also.
