Karen, I used to be involved in private law enforcement, carried a firearm, and worked in some marginal neighborhoods, so have some experience in the subject.
You should be more concerned about the excessive force being used and the prevailing trend in my opinion.
I don't think people should be burned alive or beaten up for as you say "tugging on Superman's cape". That is insane behavior.
Of course no one is perfect, but the government is not trying hard enough IMO. Perhaps this will change with a new administration, but I'm afraid too many precedents have already been set. Yogi
