JC,
I didn't make any threatening verbage, just questioned some very dubious figures that she bandied about. In addition to protective stinging, are drones of the queen bee programmed to accept all such statements as truth?

Regarding Star Office, I have installed it. I even tried to use it for a while. I found it not only clunky, but intrusive on the rest of the Windows interface. In fact, it seemed more poorly integrated into the Windows UI than any program from Microsoft or 3rd parties that I've used in quite a while. I believe it might work better on Unix.

As far as the Java SDK is concerned, I have had quite enough experience with that. Maybe you should try the Microsoft Java VM just to get a little exposure. Marc Andreesen found it much better than Sun's as did all of the reviewers prior to Sun's lawsuit. Even Sun attacked it out of fear that it was too good as exposed by documents from the court case.

Regards,
Mike
