Global Crossing (Nasdaq:GBLX - news)
Shares are up 2 3/16 to 25 13/16 after Sweden's biggest phone company, Telia AB announced that it swapped almost $98 million worth of assets with Global Crossing. Global Crossing will get access to Telia's Scandinavian network.

Global Crossing was reiterated ``buy'' by Salomon Smith Barney with a $70 price target.

GBLX is closely tied with Hutchison Whampoa on a number of Asian projects, especially in Hong Kong.

Hutchison is a huge conglomerate with very close ties to Chinese business and government.

How long will it take the market to realize that GBLX has more to benefit from the PNTR vote than any other telcom company?
