Well you cannot see the thing that is a member of the set of things we call "dog", and know it AS a dog, without reason. If that's what you mean then I agree. Babies, even before they seem to be able to reason, or interpret their senses, have emotion- so perhaps feeling is first- though not "best". That's all I was trying to say- that emotion- that rapid BURST of emotion we all sometimes feel- is probably the truest thing we have - although how true it is I really can't say, nor do I know if it corresponds to reality. I think you misunderstood me, but I'm not sure.
