RE: conclusion of annual meeting tomorrow. I got my proxy's YESTERDAY held by two different brokerages. I think the board will vote a split immediately and it will be effective before the July option expiration, possibly even the June expiration.

The reason I say this is that it appears AMD really rushed the meeting for some reason, which is why many people whose stock is held by a brokerage (especially an IRA trustee) barely got a chance to vote. Rambus had a similar meeting only a couple days ago and they are making their 4:1 split effective on June 15 -- which will be a nightmare for brokerages because there will be a gazillion new option symbols the day before expiration.

I think the reason AMD rushed the meeting was to beat Intel to a split, as nonsensical as that seems.
