It doesn't HAVE to reverberate outward. I as a human (and I don't think I'm unique here) feel all SORTS of emotions all day long. Some of them I choose to act on, and manifest to the outside, but a LOT I don't. I don't think of hate as a bad emotion- I think of it as an emotion I won't act on. Sometimes people in my family make me REALLY mad- and I DO feel a flash of hate for them. I acknowledge that to myself. Sometimes I allow myself to redirect that energy into cleaning the house- nothing makes me clean like anger. But I do NOT allow it to make me act hateful.

I am very in touch with my emotions and by embracing all of them can conquer them. Of course I don't ALWAYS choose to conquer them- and that's ok too. I'm only human.

People who are passive aggressive are usually described as being very angry but not in touch with their anger. MY point is that all emotions are valid- and by embracing your feelings you keep them under control. By rejecting some and not others you lose control. It's just my opinion, and what works for me.
