Bid is now 66! what's up?

It would be nice to get some additional assurance from IR, I'm starting to have k6-2 yield flashbacks.....

I actually have some cash available in my 401...but these drops are at bad volumes....anyone want to persuade me otherwise?

It's likely the combination of the rumor along with a few other factors including speculation on a 2ndary, the recent inadequate & faulty survey reporting AMD's market share decreasing, INTC 933mhz release & misc. FUD. We know there are quite a few shorted shares & we know that nonsensical rumors have previously been spread (ie. AMD losing DELL business) from the same source(s) (which may or may not be shorts). I'm not saying anything against shorts (I short myself) but I find these rumors rather intriguing. There's obvious maliciousness given the same source of this rumor is the same one who pointed an obviously false rumor. This one may have more legs given the momentum.

As nonsensical as the DELL rumor was, AMD was on a pullback that day (although that may be a mere coincidence)
