In my view, severe sector rotation ebbs and flows. Sector rotation is a permanent feature of the economic cycle, as I am sure you agree. In terms of ST swings and the like, the severe sector rotation you have commented on has abated owing to the recent crashes in both markets. Going forward, I am agnotic on its return. I had dumplings for lunch, BTW

GOLD. Wow. Talk about a pathetic investment. I cannot understand why that is doing so badly. I observed yesterday that Vanguard's gold fund is off 22 percent just for this year. Awesome. Can it be that the Costco story is the beginning of the slowdown and that the herd will flock back to tech?
