thanks for your comments. I'm glad to hear someone else likes a little weight at the end of their club. When I tried my friend's metal driver, it felt like I was swinging out of control, but I'm sure over time I'll get used to it.

Anyways, what brought this whole issue up is that my current clubs are too short for me. I'm 6'-4" and I look like a joke setting up with a 9 iron, and my back is starting to ache. So I was deciding whether to extend the clubs or just buy brand new metals. I'm leaning to buying a new set.
