From that page:
"A long term downtrend (a downtrend lasting months to years) in any market, especially the stock market, characterized by lower intermediate lows (those established in a time frame of weeks to months) interrupted by lower intermediate highs. From Trader Vic- Methods of a Wall Street Master, by Victor Sperandeo"

Familiar, eh?

For what it is worth, a commonly accepted definition of "intermediate low" (see the use of that word above) is a decline of over 10% but not more than 20%. After 20%, the convention goes, we are in bear territory number-wise. Convention also 'requires' that the drop last for a period of several months (I think 6 or so...).

In terms of percentage decline we are in "bear territory" on the Naz. The tech sector, but not (yet?) in the S&P. Will the decline last for the conventionally required time? To be determined.
