When I look at this and the steady institutional "collecting" of shares, I can't wait for announcements on licensing agreements, large sales and the COMDEX. The short interest will cover and the stock will inevitably reach the 50's by year end (all other things being equal IMO). I would prefer a slow, controlled climb so that the shorts don't have a reason to profit on a quick overbought situation. I would not mind, however, a quick return to the $18 to $20 level and let it settle out from there.
(These are my opinions and I currently hold 18,000 shares.)
It will bring me great pleasure when the future of wearable computing becomes the present. I will be wearing a MA V.

David, the short numbers at the link are interesting. What you see is a steady climb in the shorting of the shares as the price hit the highs in the 20+ range. More shares were likely shorted during the IBM pop as well. But the average days to cover remain under or near 1 day until this month. With this month they go up to 3.45 days, which is not so much a reflection in a great number of shorts but that volume, even at the lower prices, is dropping consistantly. At the lower prices most everyone has already bought who will like to own the stock. Volume crested in 3.25 Million shares a day, the interest in the stock had been declining since. All of the long rumored deals have been put out, the deal with IBM over 2 weeks has had zero effect on the stock. XYBR has about 30 Million shares in float, which is a large number for a company with sales of under 4.18 million in sales and a 18 Million dollar loss. The current Market cap is 333 Million.

The amount of shares Short in relation to the total number of shares is quite modest considering.
