I recall that it was reported that JP Morgan was once asked how he got rich. He said: "I sold too soon."

that is my all time favorite financial quote... sold some twtc options this morning after a nice 5 1/2 point run in the stock... was afraid i'd sold too soon, but when i came back and saw the stock closed 2 1/2 points below it's high i was glad i remembered what old jp had to say...

you are doing a great job with your thread kevin... i really enjoy reading your posts... now i bet everyone else here knows the answer to this, but i dont... what the heck is a penguin? besides a bird from anctartcia i mean... <ggg> is it like a bear in a tuxedo??

wont be around tomorrow... but if i had to guess i would call it "fizzle friday"... i dont think we will get the severe drop you are expecting, but rather not much movement either way as people head out for the holiday... maybe a slight drop... i think we had our "friday before the holiday" effect one day early... historically the friday before memorial day holiday is a low day... see last shadow's thread for more info...

have a wonderful and safe holiday everyone...

kathy :)

I need some help from anybody holding LUMT.. Obviuosly it got hammered since it busted support at 8. But todays drop from 7 to 5 3/4 on higher than normal volume looks a lot like there were a large number of stop orders at 7 and it snowballed the drop. This a rather large single day drop for a stock that was already down over 80%..

Still holding but should I bee averaging down here? Now trading around 1.5X revenues.. And a Y2000 P/E of 20..
