Cardcounter:

I love the name of that firm. (g)

This reco does suggest a few questions:

If there is a developing Dram shortage, why is the price of Dram not on a rocket ride?

Who and where are the brand new and obviously low profile consumers of the massive memory production increases that are occurring as a result of improved yields (currently increasing at close to last year's torrid pace).

I've heard this story now every single quarter for the last two or three years. So far, it has been something of a mirage. (g)

With the stock market now fully embraced by the bear, it is likely that consumer PC demand will continue to slowly ebb, following this spring's big surge.

Forget business,..... that is dreaming in technicolour.

IBM, one of the industry's giants, just vacated the consumer PC sector. Was this a philanthropic act? I suspect not. And it does speak volumes about the PC environment.

Most of this Dram shortage talk is nothing but marketing types trying to shore up pricing.

Best, Earlie
