lol- fragility is not an excellent quality in one who wishes to raise children. She might be "good with small children" but when they get bigger fainting during distress could completely destroy one
s ability to manage them.

This poor child NEEDS a mother, she doesn't need to be one!
She is just a kid! And it would seem not a very bright or worldly one. What an awful time this must have been for her.
It doesn't give me confidence in how Elian's emotional needs were met by her, though. It must have been alarming for him to see her getting hauled off to the hospital nine times. I do feel sorry for her.
