Not being a techie, I appreciate Tom actually admitting, in print, his bias. After making such a statement it is hard for me, as a non-technical person, to accept his evaluations without a huge grain of salt (mothball size). In my experience it is just too hard for people with established notions about things to put those aside in the face of conflicting data, especially if the measurements involve something as intricate as chipset performance, for example. It is just human nature to kind of lean toward an explanation which supports our biases. So, thanks Tom. I didn't think you were objective, and now I know you don't think you are objective so that helps me put everything you write about Intel/Rambus in perspective.
