I have a Nikon Coolpix 900, and it's been very nice.

One user interface problem: The monitor by default turns on, which chews up the batteries very quickly, and there doesn't seem to be a way to have it default to off. It also automatically shuts down if unused for a minute or two. So the most annoying scenario is: I turn the camera on. I turn the monitor off. I start setting up a picture (usually my 2 yr old :), the camera shuts itself off, and I have to turn it back on (which takes a few seconds) and I have the monitor back on. I've pretty much given up on having the monitor off, and just go through batteries quickly.
