I propose handling as it would show up in your portfolio if you own it (I do).....

When it is converted to DVN, then it is converted at the price and value of the actual deal, and then DVN becomes the person's stock pick......

This will not be the last to be swallowed up during the time period of the contest, so you should be consistent across the board....

By the way, this is TWO for me in one day. I own a bunch of BEAM, in talks w/ Nestle for a cash deal. Look to action on rival VISX and also LASE, which VISX may need to buy (hostile) to stay competitive. (no recomendations here, just pointing out some "action")

If its possible to adjust the portfolio (and SFS was my #1 on the category) I would rather like to substitute another stock and that would be APA but it really wouldnt matter much to me anyways. Heck, makes more sense to just go with DVN on an adjusted basis because that is what happened!!

Have a great day jim and everybody! Not going to the Hamptons, rather up the Pacific Coast Hwy to visit mom & dad for a couple days. And visit my friends too!
