As I read things, Intel and Nvidia have been making inroads into ATI's market. No one is saying ATI is going bankrupt (at least not yet), but they are a different company now in that growth must come from non traditional buisness areas. Nvidia has the lead and is making a name for itself. Which company would you rather have owned in the last year?. I agree that the quarter has been an ub=nusual one with competitors clearing out inventory at a discount. However, ATI faces major challenges in the road ahead and their stock performance over 2 years has not justified an investment. I have just sold my 400 shares and put another bid in. I will keep doing this until (*maybe) I cover my losses. There are weeks ahead in this stock....not just days...

Pretty simple, just look at Intel, they add about all possible problem a company could have add this year, production problems, missed the estimate 2 times this year alone, RAMBUS memory bugs, chipset bugs (810,810e,820), new competiton by AMD Transmeta etc, ONLY 10% REVENUES GROWTH in the last 3 years and it's up about 400% since 97 .

MArc.

Again if someone can find me more than 10 tech companies in America with more than 1 billion in sales that is growing sales at 40% per year, please give me their names.
