I think you assume you know what is the Ericsson definition of W-CDMA - what portion of the overall 3G order is relevant to Qualcomm patents. I wouldn't make that call just yet.

I have never really counted on W-CDMA infrastructure as the source of Q's royalties....I think the rate is much lower than for handsets anyway.

Telefonica is Nokia's surest bet in Spain. Nothing much has happened in Europe yet - most of the English deals are still unannounced. Spain should be interesting.

I am just surprised that nothing major has come out of Nokia. VOD seems to be the lynch pin to Ericsson 3G deals in Europe....I am trying to figure out what the equivalent might be for Nokia. With the number of deals (and many of them without dollar figures attached), it is tough to tell how well the various companies are doing.....except that MOT is doing badly.
