Dear JC and Rudedog: Well, I havent actually seen a Dr. yet over this toe. My wife being a nurse and friends with many others went to the Orthopedic Surgeon's nurse and had HER write a prescription for x-rays. Then I took the prescription to the hospital where my wife works and had Radiology take 4 xrays. Unfortunately, unbeknownst to us the nurse (who was going to read the xrays for us) took a long holiday weekend so wont know until tuesday what they show. Why did they all do this? According to the wife the DOCTOR is too busy to see me!! This is what you get married to a nurse. I dont get to be a patient, I am just a nurses husband. I come last in the list. The funny part is this Dr. probably doesnt even know I exist. The nurses are running the whole show.
I made my Vicodin comment based upon past experiences. Incidentally, I have TWO doctors and both are female. One is the SPITTING IMAGE of Meg Ryan. I see her every 3 months. haha. JDN
