Yes, you can NASDAQ stocks in Canada. If your trading within you RRSP, you will be subject to foreign content limitations (prenestly 20%, going to 25% in the future I think). As long as you are a Canadian resident, you do not have to pay US capital gains taxes. Gains will be taxable under Canadian laws however.
