Historical Comfort Food. The best way to demonstrate why I think the Nasdaq is so close to a bottom that the downside risk here is negligible is simply to look at history. I chose to start on January 1, 1971, because the subsequent 30 years easily includes the worst bear market since the Great Depression of the 1930s.
