Here is something from the German website:

I think a deal with Isonics is inevitable. On their website they talk of a `major semi` company with an Advanced 1 Gig processor that was cooler by 35 degrees CELSIUS just by using Si28 wafers. It is known that AMD is working with Isonics. These WAFERS are going to someone;

Intel isn`t paranoid enough.

Here is something from the Isonics web site:

Silicon Wafers

Natural silicon is composed of 92% silicon-28 atoms. By removing the silicon-29 and silicon-30 atoms, the resulting crystalline structure is more perfect and exhibits reduced phonon-phonon and phonon-electron interactions. This leads to improved transport properties like thermal conductivity. The thermal conductivity of 99% isotopically pure silicon-28 thin films has been measured to be 60% greater than natural silicon at room temperature 1 and 40% greater at 100 oC (chip operating temperatures).

Isonics offers epitaxial silicon wafers with 99.9% pure silicon-28 epi layers on natural silicon substrates for integrated circuit applications. The wafers are available in diameters ranging from 4 to 8 inches (100 to 200 mm) and can be doped to specific customer requirements. For more details see our white paper, Isotopically Pure Silicon, and the Frequently Asked Questions.

Could anyone (with some clue about process technologies) comment? Also, I have no idea if there is anything to this, or if someone is just trying to hype ISON stock, which trades on BB: finance.yahoo.com
