Sham, I played golf today with a dear friend, my old boss from my years with a Japanese company. He had two Nihonjin buddies with him, so I was the token gringo. I outweigh them by about 50 pounds each, and am 3 or 4 inches taller. Naturally, these little skinny dudes outdrove me by 50 to 75 yards on every hole. I began to press, and wound up playing like a beginner, and I've been playing for almost 30 years.

But please note: I did not throw any clubs and maintained a positive attitude throughout my torment, trying to fix whatever was causing me to play like a pos. I kept a smile on my face, and said "goo sha" everytime one of them made a shot.

That's the was a true curmudgeon faces adversity.

Golf is very much like investing.

cuf

btw, I'm quitting golf but not investing.
