As far as the vote on the proposed "larceny" (well said, yourself!) goes, I agree with you 1,000%. I suppose that it isn't really possible to determine how many shares of SEG funds such as Firsthand (use that as an example because I know Kevin Landis spoke out against the deal) still own. Guess I can't say much since I sold some, too. I may check out Morningstar and see if there is anything of interest there; will post back if I find anything.

Does someone know why SEG couldn't distribute VRTS shares
the way SGI is going to distribute MIPS shares?

SGI says that they don't believe there will be any tax
problems.
